I'm currently trawling local charity shops, in search of a copy of 'The Grove of Eagles' by Winston Graham.
I was looking in 'Age Concern', and saw 4 books by Paul McKenna :-S

I can make you sleep

I can mend your Broken Heart.

Someone was very upset. :-(

I'd love to know whether the books worked for him/her.

Paul McKenna had a high success rate in stopping people smoking.
He used hypnosis. Did the books come with tapes or CD's ?

Just books.

I once bought and read How to win friends and influence people. Dale Carnegie :-)

That book was in a house I was once sharing in.
Not sure the book worked.
I wasn't there long - the owner was unbearable :-D :-D

Winston Graham is better known as the author of Poldark and Marnie He was an excellent writer who had the skill of holding you into his novels.

As to "Grove of Eagles" Amazon currently list it at £ 1.92.

I had a video entitled "How to lose friends and alienate people" with John Cleese. It didn't tell me anything I wasn't already expert at.

..and yes, I have seen how much it is on Amazon, thank you, postage makes it £4.76.
Amazingly, I DO have access to the internet, and know how to look for things, but would rather donate to charity than tax dodgers - it's called ethics.
It may take a bit longer, but, hey, it won't kill me.

For RTR's info: 'The Grove of Eagles' is what I would call 'Faction', in that it uses happenings of the time to create a story.
It's about a Maugan Killigrew acknowledged illegitimate son (possibly fictional) of Sir John Killigrew, the Governor of Cornwall's Pendennis Castle (fact - he was, he was also my ancestor - and the ancestor of hundreds of others!).

I only ask, because when I've seen Paul 'put people out' on TV, he uses one of the moves that lessens blood flow. :-D :-D

I spent money on a "hypnotist" over 40 years ago, it didn't work.

Some years later after watching my Mother die in the ICU I quit the habit easily.
