Jackie Milburn, a simple machine to turn money into cat s**t!

He is a six a day man now, six sachets of cat meat and he eats it all when he asks for it so he must be hungry for food and not attention. He is a big boy and still all tom cat at the front with a big tom cats head but he is not fat so he must need it.

Even though he gets Aldi meat I think he still costs more to feed than I do!

Blimey he has a huge appetite

My boy Mr Tibbs has one pouch of Felix in jelly in the mornings. A few Felix treats mid morning . and a handful of purina for his evening meal

He sometimes makes the purina last all night too

Mind you no knowing if he feasts on live birds and mice during the day as he often brings me some in thinking I need feeding too !!!

I'm going to be nerdy now! :-D :-D

Aldi, and Tesco pouches are 85g, Whiskas, Felix and Sainsbury's pouches are 100g, so, by my reckoning, Jacky has 510g of food a day.

Between them mine eat a 400g can of meat a day (morning feed), and at least 3 sachets of (usually) Felix or Whiskas in the evenng.
Now I know the different weights, I understand why they have up to 5 sachets of Tesco pouches between them :-(

So, on average, they eat 350g of wet food a day, plus two types of dry food, available at all times. To be honest, a lot of the 'wet' food is available all day too - they're fussy b*ggers, but obviously not too hungry :-|
They also drink a fair bit of water - always have done!

Both are considered 'skinny' by today's standards, in that, you can't feel their ribs, but know where their spines are!
At 12 years old, they're both pretty active - actually, at times, George still thinks he's a teenager :-|

I have never known Jackie to drink. Of course there is water available but he has never touched it and shows no interest at all in it.

One of ours sits in the sink and drinks from the tap <3

Sharron

Sharron Report 25 Jul 2018 18:12

He was poking about in the hand basin, looking to see what was in there and the tap was dripping but he ignored it completely.

Sharron

Sharron Report 25 Jul 2018 18:28

And have him going through that like he goes through meat?

LaGooner

LaGooner Report 25 Jul 2018 18:29

It will probably go through him like a dose of salts ;-) :-D :-D :-D :-D

Sharron

Sharron Report 25 Jul 2018 18:59

He is bad enough sober, I am not starting him on beer.

He would probably be demanding I take him for a kebab afterwards as well.

LaGooner

LaGooner Report 25 Jul 2018 19:24

Sharron

Sharron Report 25 Jul 2018 19:43

Then, before you know where you are, he will be on drugs, which I could probably live with but, with drugs comes munchies which would just make life even harder!

LaGooner

LaGooner Report 25 Jul 2018 19:50
