My paternal grandfather 1874-1940 married twice. His first wife Ada Coaton died aged 33, his son Samuel died aged 7 years. GF's second wife, Sarah McLarnon was the Mother of my Father and Aunt Rose. Sarah died 1941 shortly after her husband. GF also named Samuel died in Purdeysburn Hospital March 1940. He was a Belfast docker. :-)

I would much prefer to go through rigorous security with such a lot of awful things happening these days!

The security is really high here too. I had my bags searched, I had half a bottle of water too, they scrutinised it very carefully. Still I have no complaints.

I went to Barry Island a lot of years ago to go to Butlins for the day :-D
We enjoyed it.

Of course it has become famous because of Gavin & Stacey :-D

Yes, I would love to come to London especially as I have ancestral links there. Islington, Chiswick, Clerkenwell off the top of my head.
My 2x G.Grandfather worked at Somerset House

Ive been to Barry Island Jem. Many years ago, on a train from Paddington. Cant remember who I went with, but it was raining!! :-D :-D

You should try and come Jem, no doubt Belle and I could tell you what to visit. The places that are a bit off the beaten track. But just as interesting.

Fly, I was a bit worried that they wouldn't let me in. They were very strict on security and insisted on photographic ID- Passport or Driving Licence.

I have no passport and my driving licence is way out of date. But I got away with it! :-D

I got frisked and scanned with a thingy and my bag was searched :-D

Night Belle and Twiddeley <3 <3

Great thanks Jem, we went walking on the South Bank. Took in HMS Belfast, the Globe, and strolled along to Waterloo Bridge. Very hot, and packed too. The school holidays brings all the kids out. There are usually some entertainment for them along there.

We had a sit and ate too. So, yeh, nice day. :-) <3

Fly, We were a bit worried cos of the Eisteddfod in the same spot and the Senedd (Welsh Assembly) The car park was full but luckily someone was leaving and kept us her spot.

Then we walked along the sea front. It was fabulous. All the boats, the Eisteddfod all along people and atmosphere. I loved it from the moment we left the carpark

It can be difficult to keep up with Maddie.

I love everything about Classic Corrie :-D
So many interesting story lines going on at the same time. And much more believable than now :-D
