And not very good at tackling steep hills, the passengers had to get out and push.

Mind you the car was produced in Holland which from recollection is not a very hilly country :-D

Talking of cars... a cousin of mine, in about 1970, bought a Moskvitch (spelling?). It cost about £750, and came with a complete tool kit. By heck, it needed that tool kit. It sounded like a tank, and was about as easy to drive. He couldn't even trade it in as no dealer would touch it. We still rib him about it now.

An old delivery bike is what you need with a big basket on the front just right for shopping, add a few ribbons to make it look pretty :-D

Somebody rebuilds Jensen Interceptors. That was always the car of my dreams.

If there is a couple of bob left after the Koeniggsegg or whatever it is called is bought, would you consider getting me an Interceptor?

Sorry Chris, just asked the young un that question.

His answer - Jags, Rolls Royce, Bentley - probably more for older people.

He said it in a more subtle way of course as a ten-year-old who still enjoys Gran's treats would. :-D
