Got the young un staying tonight.

He spent an hour in the school gym after school so I picked him up as he is only allowed to walk if a friend or two walk with him and they don't go to the gym.

Dinner is in the oven and I have homework to supervise - never mind what Gary Lineker says, the young un's parents like the idea. There are no easy rides for most of us in this life.

Remember, Lineker? He was the one whose son did not do well in his exams a few years ago and Lineker whinged and blamed the expensive private school for son's lacklustre performance. :-(

Now we can hazard a guess why!

Some parents can be such an embarrassment. :-0 ;-)

Gardener is in the Peak district for a weeks holiday before they move into their new home. Made me laugh that in the legal papers there is a clause which says he has unrestricted access to the rear field to water his horse :-D :-D :-D

Had a lovely surprise this afternoon when a neighbour brought me a beautiful bouquet of red and yellow roses. Also an invitation to join them for a pub lunch on Sunday. From the lady who broke several bones and I lent her G,s wheelchair. How lovely is that :-D :-D :-D
