Actually I believe that Kyle is female. She signs her name Kyle Bell (was Newland). I don't believe that being a new poster gives her the right to be so horribly rude to one of the helpers. Personally I don't mind "chasing away" this new member.

I have no idea if Kyle is male or female, and I thank everyone for their support.

I'm hoping Kyle has realized a silly mistake was made and will not repeat it in the future.

It might be worth pointing out that it is not Kyle's family tree that 2peasinapod has ...... but her own tree which just happens to be the same family and ancestors as Kyle.


There are about 20 trees on this site that I could call "my" tree, and some will have my name showing ............... but it really is a matter of fact that we share the same ancestors, even down to my generation.

I could possibly find as many as 100 trees on Ancestry that have the same ancestors with me, and some as far down as this generation .... which is why I have no children! At least none on any tree that I have online.

So it is not a matter of 2peasinapod stealing Kyle's tree, just a matter of common ancestors!


I would hope that Kyle would return to read this, but I doubt it!

it is a pity that someone RR'd Kyle's post, nasty though it was, as now it is not at all apparent what has upset so many members.

GR has changed over the years as we all know,
but one thing never changes on here is the time

reading these 2 threads is like watching someone walk down a street and each house throwing a pee pot out the window on someone that stepped on a neighbours cats tail.

people are able to deal with things by themselves......and should be left as such as too many pokey fingers make thing seem and look much worse.

Again thanks for the support I'm guessing Kyle; if looking in; is feeling a tad silly right now for the misunderstanding. Let's just let it ride off into the sunset so to speak. I'm hoping it was just an immature reaction, and we were all young and "stupid" once.

A misunderstanding is not immature or stupid,,,,,it is what is is a misundertaning of a misread reply,,,,and it doesn't take the young to act stupid.even if they don't feel silly.

It may well have been a misunderstanding/misreading on Kyle's part, but the attitude and language in their response was certainly both immature and stupid, unneccessary and foul.

Kay, I think you missed the point. This was not a case of a simple misunderstanding. Yes, Kyle misunderstood Caroline's post but her reaction to it was horrible and vile. Did you even read it?
To use the excuse of being immature and stupid doesn't hold water with me. Yes, I was once immature and stupid but I would never have used the kind of language that Kyle used against someone who was trying to help her.
