A flounce needs a proper flounce and a big song and dance,,not swan song but a real legs in the air one,,,,,,,,

:-D.

Taught to flounce from a crushed display cushion to a broken nail.

Lessons see Madge.

Kay???? Report 16 Jan 2019 20:32

Yep Sylvia, for as long as you like,,,,,but do it proper like.

I know Sues how we suffered and what drama it caused,,,,,,,,,even if someone dared to even go near a display only towel.

;-) :-D :-D.

Madge Report 16 Jan 2019 20:33

Sylvia please pray tell how you manage to break 3 nails on a train trip? We need to discuss this it is very worry and giving me cause for concern

Yours Fretful

of Cheshire

Thank you .......

Now to flounce you need to swish hair we never ever flick :-| we need to throw our arms about with fantastic amounts of gesturing . We then make sure we have an audience ( pointless putting this much effect in and no one around to witness it)

Now at this point you can throw yourself on the floor but I strongly discourage this even though it was my signature move back in the day ...

Now you stomp or sashay across the floor, for an announce and flounce I tend to favor the sashay ........still gesturing wildly if you can point your chin towards the ceiling that is great.

Then we prepare to stage exit left >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

of course for extra attention it is good if you head right first and then change course

<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<

as you approach the door you stop !!!!!!! pose pout get that chin ( just the one Sue ) up in the air ;-)

we then swish our hair left and right please do not attempt this with short hair it just looks like a wasp is annoying you.

You exit the door and give it a good hard SLAM .........you always repeat this just twice....

and you are gone. :-D

That ladies is How you exit the building ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) or announce your departure ;-)

Oi I’ll have you know that the stapler applied and fired just above my ears cured the chin problem :-P :-P

I too wonder how Sylvia managed to break three nails on a train journey...popping the champagne corks maybe??

I broke a nail today taking a very stubborn hockey helmet off a child!!

Allan

Allan Report 16 Jan 2019 21:57

Nope, Sylvia bought an economy ticket. The nails were broken whilst shovelling coal into the steam boiler. ;-)

SylviaInCanada

SylviaInCanada Report 16 Jan 2019 22:01

:-D :-D :-D

I actually broke 5 nails over the 3 weeks we were away ............. 2 on the train going and 3 coming home.

It's very easy

a) have someone let the carriage door go just as you are reaching to hold it open for yourself

b) run your hands along the rail on the wall, and forget to lift your finger when you come to the break between 2 rails. Murphy's Law (or someone's law) says that at least once a nail will hit the new rail straight one.

c) just be plain stupid!
