Largest dam on the island had gone from 13% full to 32% full in 2 weeks. Full it holds 115,000 mcm (million cubic metres). It's rained heavily most days and sometimes all day for weeks.

Only one ski run open because of the conditions and that has 27 inches of snow. Webcam up Troodos has been down for over a week.

Just had a snow sprinkling here too but only a short one and now sunny.

Having a lazy day today. Been pretty tied up with a couple of ill pals and, in between, done 30 to 40 mins dancing almost every day. Had no goodies when meeting with friends for coffee mornings, hardly any alcohol for a while and, hey presto, I am feeling holier-than-thou having hit the scales 9 pounds lighter this morning!

Almost back to my summer weight! Happens every Christmas cos I love my grub! :-D

Waiting for dtr to come across. The young un was no bother while she was away for a few days and his Dad fed him his dinner each day before bringing him to ours to sleep. We made sure he got to school and he came to us before his Dad finished work.

Just off to get a coffee and binge-watch the rest of Informer.
