Put it in a plastic bag with a towel wrapped around it. Not to make it cold but to stop the pillow getting hot. |

I have used it out here in August. I also have a cool shower before I get in bed so I am a comfortable temp. when I get in and wear cotton, that includes our sheets |

We have summer flat sheets and winter it's cotton polyester with a duvet. |

When you go to bed everything is warm and that includes your clothes and bed. The towel is as warm as if it was on a radiator so you need something to cool it down. The air conditioner only goes on for 30 mins so we need back up - the ice blocks :-D |
