	Afternoon all. <3 :-D Blowing a hooley here! Our microwave went kaput this morning so we decided to go out for coffee then look for a new one. We were in the Costa coffee shop at Next when the assistant came round to remind us that it would soon be the two-minute silence. It’s the first time we can recall missing it - we were waiting for a tannoy announcement and there was none, also those at tables never got to their feet! It was way beyond five past when I looked at my watch so I felt a tad guilty. Who owns Next and Costa now, I wonder? And surely not all of the families of those having coffee came through unscathed. I am gobsmacked at all - and myself for not looking at the time earlier. Thinking today of my uncle, Mum’s youngest brother, who died (and is buried) in Germany in July 1945. <3 <3 <3

	Afternoon all :-) Bright and breezy, but still dry. The Channel looked mighty choppy when I passed that way earlier. Bit of luck that those leaves took themselves far away, Joan ;-)
