I have just downloaded a whole lot of WW2 info on my Mum's cousin who died in the North Sea when his Spitfire crashed.. Fascinating stuff - full of things I never knew about him, although I knew where he lived and who his Mum was. He was only 21 and had more than 281 flying hours under his belt. <3

Joy, fascinating what you can find online....I found out how my gt uncle was killed in WW1 by looking at the war diary for his regiment....my family was just told he was killed in action but nothing about the circumstances <3
