We did get out this morning and I was surprised The Park was open :-0. We kept well clear of the trees but didn't stay out long mainly be cause of the driving rain :-0

In for the day now as high winds forecast for most of the day :-0

Iv'e lost a tree in my little orchard which is very old. It was the last of the Russet apples left in the orchard . I had 10 trees left now sadly only 9. The apples did'nt get picked till October and were lovely with a bit of cheese.

Iv'e not had rain here YET and there was a little brightness in the sky to the south. My bangalow faces north so sometimes its sunny out the back and grey and dark in the front.

Not going to venture up the local shop today for my paper and some bits as I know my oh would'nt have wanted me to go out. I can hear him saying "your not going out today". They are always with you........ <3

Interesting link though...only average 24 mph with gusts of 47 here :-0. Nothing in comparison to you Mr M :-0

We've got an average of 29mph winds, with 57mpg gusts.

So far, I have the huge lid from my neighbours' plastic storage unit in my garden.

My eldest grand daughter lives in Wales. This morning, she sent the extended family a video of her walking the dog. This was at 06:55 - I mean, if she has to get up early for work on a Saturday, why should anyone else sleep in? :-(

In the video, the dog has her eyes half closed against the wind and rain. Apparently, after 10 minutes, the dog turned around and dragged grand daughter back home!
This isn't a small, delicate lap dog - It's a huge Romanian rescue dog - a Carpathian shepherd dog - used for fighting off wolves in the wild, on snowy mountains ... but she didn't like the weather :-D :-D
