Orrible morning the lying snow has turned to slush and it's very heavy cold rain now :-(

I got very wet on walkies but Ralphie is all fluffy :-0

We have a small amount of snow starting to disappear now.
Much more on higher ground.
Seems to be more eastwards towards England (Ann’s end)

The gritting lorries were out spreading on the main roads yesterday afternoon in readiness for an overnight drop in temperature.
It's very cold, very windy and very wet with no sign of snow in this bottom corner.

Grandson decided not to drive down from the Lake District for his mum's birthday, which was wise and understandable but I was disappointed for her <3
We look forward to seeing him later this month now.

School goes back for the new term here tomorrow.
I wonder how many across the country will be closed?
