Bright sunshine all morning, after a chilly night.

Laptop says we have reached the dizzy height of 4 degrees.

No idea what it's really like outside...

Just read back on yesterday's posts about wedding dresses.

Not sure why now, but I didn't want a veil, although we were having a church wedding with long white dress.
I bought a plain white crystal satin dress with a hooded over cape of white lace.
My Dad said he'd like the cape afterwards to put over his blackcurrant bushes :-| :-0

I wore the plain dress for some formal functions, when we lived overseas.
Both parts of the outfit are still here somewhere.

My dress was typical of the time. A Victorian style dress, long sleeves, high neck, natural waist and full skirt. I had a flowery type tiara and a cathedral length veil.

However, I did buy an Ossie Clark dress to wear to the reception. White crepe.

My original dress and veil is still in its box, but the Ossie Clark dress, I eventually cut up for the Drama Queen when she was the Archangel Grabriel in a Nativety play. Hindsight is wonderful, it would be worth mega bucks now :-0 :-0

How styles have changed now for Wedding dresses. Sweetheart necklines and tight fitting. :-)

My 'angel' had to make do with a long white nightie with tinsel trim.
We have a lovely photo taken in our living room, when she tried it on.
Pity about the golden yellow furry slippers peeping out under the hem.

I could really do without the cold and lugging wood so soon after tripping the light fantastic down the wooden hill. I hope karma gets them who took advantage before lockdowns big time :-| :-|
