It appears that BT's online directory has a few errors! Wrong address and wrong initial! As I've always said - they'll all be found when they're good and ready. Oh yes - and they only stay there Mon - Fri. That's why call wasn't returned sooner.

Keith - can you write a letter, please? Put your return address on the envelope so it can be returned if wrong person. I have now left 2 messages without reply and not going to leave any more. There is the possibility this is a shift worker and not around at the 'normal' time folk would use the phone. However, I have asked that - even if not the person we're looking for - they return the call, just so we can close this. Not half-term in Scotland, Rose, the schools break up for the 'Summer' holidays end of June! Know what you mean about talking to a 'machine' though - but have left my number mid way through and also at the end of the message.

Just caught up with this, if you don't hear back Hoff (and I assume you've left a coherent message lol , not being rude I just know that I tend to go to pieces if I get an answer phone) Do try phoning again in a day or two, they may not get the message for some reason,esp if it is someone with children in the house! (half term). Or write a nice letter telling them who you are,some people react better if they have the info written down and time to consider what THEY want to say! Rosexx

Still no reply, Keith. Of course this might not be the right person - let's wait and see if we can trace them via the electoral register. Not going to be this week though - need to knuckle down to that never-ending pile of paperwork then going to Mallaig on Thursday and also very busy next weekend. Keith , gonna be all serious now . Have been tracin family tree for sometime now . Mum spotted a very close relative in obituary column , someone I had been looking for , for ages . I wrote a letter to the undertakers , to pass on ( they won,t give out an address ) . This was 2 months ago, still no reply. Hav done my best an respect his decision ..... Kim xxx
