Its odd how things bring back memories. It shows they (the memories) are still there albeit not easily accessible. Having reached three score years and more than 20, it would be interesting to be able to download and review the contents of one's head. len |

My fave police drama was No Hiding Place - think Mike Baldwin x Corrie was the young copper. Don't really think I would like to see them again though - memories could be spoiled - probably awful acting. Libby x |

Oh, just remembered another programme that I liked: Champion the Wonder Horse! Champion the Wonder Horse! Like a streak of lightnin' flashin' cross the sky, Like the swiftest arrow whizzin' from a bow, Like a mighty cannonball he seems to fly. You'll hear about him ever'where you go. The time'll come when everyone will know The name of Champion the Wonder Horse! |

All the foregoing brings to my mind part of a ditty about a lass who dropped her glove in a rather dangerous spot, to show off her love's prowess: The leap was quick, return was quick He lightly gained his place. Then threw the glove But not with love Right in his lady's face. Surely not Robin? len |

oh dear - was it THAT long ago?? William Tell, Robin Hood, Torchie, The Lone Ranger, What about Casey Jones?? Just seems like yesterday and we didn't even own a TV!!! There was only one TV in our neighbourhood (three doors down) and we used to hope to be invited to come and watch each afternoon. maybe that's why they made such an impression!!! Vonny |
