UPDATE Thanks for all the messages on here and the personal ones is appreciated. Spoke to dad this morning and mum is still at home although not improved much if she moves her head she is sick although as she has nothing in her is just retching.. Dad now has a funny tummy so they are a right pair. As we thought would happen he went hypo last night but managed to sort himself out. He sounds very tired, have offered to go down but he says not to at moment and that me and hubby are to still go out to the concert tonight as planned. Thanks again |

Dawnie, It sounds very like the nasty bug I have just got over, terrible feelings of sickness, dreadful tummy pains and you know what! And because I am diabetic like your dad, it brought on the worst ever hypo, I have ever experienced. I was at the point of collapse and lost all my colour, frightened the life out of family............did nothing but rest and sleep for days. I can empathise with how your mum and dad are feeling, it should pass, problem is, it takes so much longer in someone with an already low immune system. Hope they are both feeling much better soon.
