I think the 'authorities' were completely wrong to insist that the game went ahead. I have no allegiance to any London team, but I can't help thinking that had it been Arsenal who were afflicted the game would have been postponed. As to whether there was any deliberate tampering with the food, one has to wonder why there have not (as far as I am aware) been any reports of illness suffered by any other guests of the Marriott Hotel. I think the the game should be void as the players were ill. and the west ham football club should also support the decision too as they would not like to be in that situ.so play again with the team being fit to play. i am not a football fan as i do not like footie.but i believe in fair play.

I don't care how many conspiracy theories there are over this, West Ham played to win, there was no way we were going to lose the last game of the season at home! Pride was at stake there. As long as the conspiracists (spelling) don't try to blame us. At the end of the day, the biggest loser here is the Hotel in Canary Wharf. Would you go for a meal there now?

They have showed even before yesterday that they deserve it.
