So Nolls has gone off to Sunny Malta Lucky her, wish I could join her To Malta I have been many times they certainly enjoy sunnier climes Unlike us, they have no winter cold no rain either, so I'm told Very sad it was to see the Service at Eleven am on the TV Wept a few tears at watching it all and those who lost loved ones but most of all the children of Soldiers today who thanks to politicians go into the fray Xtremely upset I was to see those same planners place a wreath with no sense of blame

You have hit the nail on the head. Never a truer word has been said. Zap those sad thoughts away Try to keep those things at bay. Am all for burying my head in the sand There is too much to worry about in this land But I try to change things if they are not fair I wouldn't like you to think I didn't care Changing the subject, I saw your thread Dorothy You have had a lot of success, (not like me.) Did I see your success with a name ending with tt. I wish I could find my William P.

Ever so helpful people are I find with questions on rellies - so very kind For I am not so knowledgeable yet you know as some on here - so I am so slow Get so far and then find a wall and sometimes tempted to chuck it all! Have you tried, Chrispy, to ask and see if our friends on here can find William P? It's worth a try and you may solve your problem all in one go!

**chrispy**

**chrispy** Report 13 Nov 2006 20:21

Just wish I could break down the wall No one can find anything at all. Keep looking on the internet For all the info I can get. Lots of times I have put out an appeal You wouldn't think it could be such a big deal. Many GR members have answered my call But no one has got back any further at all. Now I have looked at births and census lists and parish records,. What have I missed? Oh dear I even paid for some research to be done But that didn't reveal this elusive one! Perhaps I will put out one more appeal You never know what it could reveal!!

Quite hair pulling it can be frustration and despair seem to hit me Really tried hard to find this man who holds the key to my line Searched long and hard some facts to find on him with no success to ease my mind Trouble is so elusive is he Reasons he had unknown to me Unless I find him I won't know what route to take or where to go Verifying my background, or what was his? so mystefying and frustrating it really is.

**chrispy** Report 13 Nov 2006 22:40

Well, Dorothy I sympathise with you As only people with brick walls can do! Xtra care and patience you need It is frustrating we are agreed. You wonder if a person had something to hide Or maybe (surely not) that the person lied Zis man I am hunting has no record of birth How did he get here, on this earth?

Eighteenth it is now, month half gone so apart from me, where is everyone? For it seems for sure this thread is bare five days passed and no one there Granted, I'm guilty too I know so help me out and make it grow Have a think and a rhyme please add otherwise, it will end, which will be so sad

**chrispy**

**chrispy** Report 18 Nov 2006 22:05

I'm so glad to see someone at last. I thought this thread was fading fast.

DorothyG

DorothyG Report 18 Nov 2006 23:28

Really glad to see you both here Ron where are you with your beer? So, let's have a glass and say our thread will live another day To your health and wealth I will drink we've saved the thread now I think

**chrispy**

**chrispy** Report 21 Nov 2006 21:16

Undoubtedly Carol and Dorothy G You have saved the day with your A to Zee. Very sad to see this fading fast Please don't let it be a thing of the past! We have strived to rhyme through thick and thin. Could we bring some newcomers in?

DorothyG

DorothyG Report 21 Nov 2006 21:43

Xtremely concerned at lack of rhymes Chrispy I hope it's not time You are not right in saying that this thread is fraying Zipping along we need to be we need more than just thee and me All together now - let's pull it through and that means you and you and YOU!!

**chrispy**

**chrispy** Report 23 Nov 2006 20:46

'Bye,' bye now, I think we are sinking fast. This little rhyme may be my last. Cordially saying goodbye to you all. Chatting to you has been a ball. Chris x x x x x

Joy Report 24 Nov 2006 01:11

Goodness, let's not lose this thread! How can we make it widely read? Is it time to change the title - just tweak it somehow, just a little? Knight in Shining Armour Ron, let's hear what you think, maybe I'm wrong? New thread title may catch the eye of peeps who normally pass us by? (please excuse for having my say when quite a while I've been away)

DorothyG

DorothyG Report 24 Nov 2006 14:45

Right you are Joy, and so clever to use a new letter and then never Slip up and miss a character so I could pick up letter R Thanks to you we might save this thread so come on Ron, hear what's been said

**chrispy**

**chrispy** Report 24 Nov 2006 22:42

Unreservedly admire your determination To bring this thread to the nation. Very sad to see it begin to fade I will stay and give some aid. We could call to Ron to add some spice To the title, but it must be nice! Xtremely concerned there' s no news from Ron still, Is he having a fine romance or is he ill? Yet another idea that I have had If I tell you maybe you'll think I'm mad. Zip a little message onto the board and plead For everyone to add a rhyme, would it work indeed?

DorothyG

DorothyG Report 24 Nov 2006 22:50

A good idea Chrispy! You could mail Ron tell him the problem and what is wrong But if he's away he may not see the messages we've put or hear our plea Could someone who knows him ask him to comment or please look in Desperate times call for action I think before this thread disappears down the sink
