Hi Maz Disgraceful isn't it, my age and I have to admit it is my first time!!!! I have read The Mayor of Casterbridge and Tess of the D'Urbervilles, but not this one. Suppose we need to put our thinking caps on for some new choices ;-)) |

Dee if this is your first time (!) then you MUST finish the book first or you will spoil it. Got the video from the library yesterday - waiting for a quiet moment to watch it. Maz. XX |

Hi Maz I am with you on Far From The Madding Crowd, I started it last night and am enjoying it so far. BTW we were talking of books that 'go back in time'. Have any of you read Anya Seton's Green Darkness? I read it years ago and am going back to read it again as it has tenuous connections with Ightham Mote, where I work as a volunteer Dee ;-)) |

I'm pleased to see that somebody else is having trouble concentrating on the description. I must say it's a very good cure for insomnia though! lol The other book hasn't come in at my library yet so I think I'll have a bit of a rummage on the book case for some Harlan Coben or James Patterson! Hi just caught this as on my way out to post box. FFTMC! Well, I am reading it (by the way I enjoyed the film many years ago, or maybe it was a TV production.) I am finding it quite hard to read because it is soooo descripttive that it makes me want to skip bits. But I enjoy the story and I laughed out loud at one bit so, who knows Maz!! We shall see. I am still waiting for the other one from the library. can't think why you gave up on Labrynth Maz, we definitely have different types of minds obviously Ann Glos |
