We have one called the Rotal Oak but locally known as Deddons lots of stories how it got that name but noone really knows. One story was the fishermen used to call in there after being paid and used to say best go or will be a dedon when I get home. Germaine x |

Pub at the top of my road WAS called The Tavern on the Hill - it featured in Britain's Hardest Pubs TV programme !!!! They have changed the name now, can't for the life of me think of the new name! We still call it the Tav or the Tavern. Mebbe Karen will come on here in a minute and she might remember what it's called now! Maz. XX |
