James - Born just before WW2 ?? You are a youngster lol I ve now been to 3 meets in London and seen all these vivacious chicks (??) so what you worrying about ? gives you new lease on life. You dont have to keep up with their drinking ... they drink things I never heard of ! and they are still standing few hours later. If you get bored you can always pop down to Trafalgar Sq and count the pidgeons .... and that dont take long these days ! Joe.

I think I must be the oldest at the London Meets. I have a fab time and all the youngsters spoil me. Must admit that sometimes I don't always understand certain phrases that are used but usually Zoe or David will explain !!! LOL Come along James. You will be made very welcome. Julie... It is the 25 Mar. at the Coal Hole in the Strand..... almost next to Charing X Station. Jean x.

Hi Dee, you certainly won't be a fish out of water. I enjoyed the last London Meet & I don't drink or smoke & am considerably older than most. I suppose it does help that I have been a people watcher all my life. lol I love to stay sober & watch what others get up to. Vivienne

Bec Report 5 Mar 2006 11:29

WELL! Yes it is safe to go to the London Meet as I am now DEFINITELY going and I was the youngest at the last one. I may have been the baby but I was better behaved than EVERYONE else! Becx (who was led astray by the Oldies)
