Hi everyone The results are in not good but at least we know now, Mary has to have a CT Scan on Monday to make sure that it hasn't spread & back to the specialist on Thursday & at the moment it looks like surgery on the following Monday. Mary is a bit better now as at least she knows & will get on with the job of getting better she knows what to expect as our mum had a mastectomy. My other sister & I will go up to be with her when I can get my husband into respite But we will probably wait until she comes home as I think that we can be of more help then. Hi Cilla, I have looked after three elderly ladies over the last few years, they all had a mastectomy when they were younger and they are all still here to tell the tale, one is 79, one 83 and one 88! Where there's life there's hope and if your sister Mary is a fighter like you she will be o.k I am sure. Best of luck with the appointment. Liz |

Big hug for you both..... and remember not all cancers are deadly.... my cousin (39) just had a mastectomy and the prognosis is brilliant. So Pink Positive thoughts sent to ya |

My sister see the specialists at 9am tomorrow Aussie time but we pretty much know the result which is not good her GP said that surgery was recommended so thats not good but we are staying positive as we know that the survival rate is a lot better now. Thank you all for your prayers & thoughts I will keep you all up to date as I find out. Love Cilla from Oz xxx |
