Interesting to see how many people wrote the name Jade Goody and at the time, I would have said the same.

In 2005 I'm sure her purpose in life hadn't become clear however in a 12 month period, an extra 400,000 women took up the chance of cervical screening which has been attributed to her illness (the Goody effect). No one knows how many lives she saved but even only one would be an achievement.

Perhaps we all have a purpose in life, it's just not evident yet.

only people who watch banal tv shows and read magazines such as "Hello" will have the faintest idea who most of these celebrities(?) are let alone add to the list
