Andy i love you too!! Bachelor No 2 is an excellent cd. Red Vines ...what a track! yeah Belly did Feed The Tree Paul...and the lead singer with Belly used to be in Throwing Muses with her half sister Kristin Hersh. but the Throwing Muses were a bit more diverse...had to be an aquired taste lol. Di

Although inevitably not everyones cup of tea, Beth Gibbons (ex Portishead) has a great vocal range as well.

Now I'm going to be completely old-fashioned - ish. Someone on another thread mentioned Mama Cass, or Cass Elliott. Wow, she had one helluva voice! And I have to say it, Karen Carpenter (tho there were too many slushy songs) and Anne Murray, to name three. Glenys.

I think Dido has a beautiful voice & I love Alanis Morrisette's lyrics & style - but she hasn't done anything for a while. I loved Debbie Harry & Siouxsie in the 70s/80s. My other half says he's mad about Shania Twain - can't think why! Saz

Hi I also can not stand Celine Dion!! Andy - I like Eddi Reader too! I have one of her older cd's (post Fairground Attraction :) and it's one of my favourite cd's ever!! Others I enjoy are Annie Lennox, Anastacia, Sheryl Crow, Alanis Morrisette, etc etc!! Joanne

William I don't know that song. I bought my eddie reader cd probably about 12 or so years ago and then moved abroad so never heard any of her songs from then on. Just love the cd I have! Joanne
