Most of my Scottish ones are James.....Uncle, Grandad, Gt. Grandad, GT.Gt Grandad, etc.....no wonder when they call out Jimmy in Scotland, half the men turn round....

Loads of Williams and Marys in my English ones....

....only one of them had some inspiration and called a son after her maiden name....Sargison......sadly he died in his 20's....

Do Jewish names and names of people who weren't actually christened count? She asked pedantically... My Dad's middle name was Levi, which is a Jewish name, but the GR geneologist informed me that Protestant non-conformists used Old Testament names too!
