Rose, this genealogy stuff has cost me a small fortune, WHEN i do find stuff, i then back it all up with the relevent certificates or paperwork.....i have gone forward online but have stopped until i have this paperwork or CD copies of indexes......i have paid out this week so far over £80 for a baptism and attestation papers............i dont have a tree online because my cousin will want to see it, she has all stuff from online and has never backed any of this info up..........and i am not paying all this money out in order for her to benifit !!!!

..........well did find a few bits and pieces , the only way i think i can get on further down the line is by travelling around , ancestry doesnt seem to help me
much now ,
i know what you mean jacky , it costs a fortune
i dont buy all death certs mind you ,i have a few only because a few in family died the same year , and being nosy wondered if there was an epidemic .
.............it also seems that all that get in touch with me all seem to go no further than the 1500 ,

Well I will be watching a bit of X-Factor and then we're going out with friends. Have to rely on my X-Factor colleague to keep me posted on what's going on.

All well here, have spent a large amount of money on certs and I have come to a bit of a standstill. Even if I could get hold of the certs, my Lithuanian family are totally eluding me. Will keep trying though!

Yeah, i have been googling and found some relation looking for family decendants from Galgate - i am a decendant..........the contact is in Toronto Canada and my relation is supposed to have built the Crown Theatre there and there are a lot of rellies out there................Oooh. Anyway i have emailed them - i will have to wait now !!! -- fingers crossed.

Just watched the dancing - really enjoyed it too.

OMG...........ive just had a email from some relations in the Isle Of Man - i didnt know about these lot....they are related to the ones in Toronto !!!!!!!!!!!!!...they are going to send me all the certs and info they have on my Granddads family - my Dads Dad..........YEAH,,,,at last i make a breakthrough. My contact said we are a very well know family in Toronto.........

Looks like I missed you all again. Stick at it Rose with the Maltese, a tough one that but no doubt it'll be well worth it in the end.

Jacky so busy with all this family you're finding! No need really to wish you good luck with your research think you must have already picked that up from someone already!

Dull but dry here, not at all cold though !!!

My gardens are a mess with all the fallen leaves, if it stays dry, i will go out later and try to tidy them a little.
