Done some shopping and i am in for the day now, need to do some housework...........

Had some visitors last night they didnt go until i started yawning - couldnt help myself..............Lol.

I got a w cert today, i thought it was the uncles we never knew about...........i was wrong - wrong man !!!.....hope i can find another one for him.

Hello all my friends.

Popped in here the last couple of days, started to catch up on the threads that I haven't read and then something comes along and prevents me leaving a message. So the next time, catch up on any messages left, go to post and wham - doorbell, phone, OH coming in from long hard day pop down to make him a cuppa and then don't get back on!

Good to hear all ok with you , Rose. Nice to see you posting too Rog - it's a great feeling being nice and warm and cosy too isn't it with your new central heating on.

Hope this quick post finds you all as well as can be. Little Leigha has a little eye infection poor thing - still nine months old now and the first real unwellness she's experienced apart from a sniffle early on. bless that lovely little girl. And her mummy has been unwell too, thought it might be a touch of food poisoning after a curry the previous night!

Hope to get back on here a lot sooner than several days next time! Til then take care all.

Hiya All,

Been doing lots of research - havent got anywhere though, i am really struggling and i sooo want to have some sort of file/book ready for my sisters birthday, i started on my Mams side, my grandmother was b in 1890, i have her in the 1901 then..............nothing, others have looked for her and her family but they cant be found....i am getting so fed up again...Lol

Been very busy in work too but i'm off on friday and monday.....yeah !!!

...........only a few connections but distant ones . .....my mams side i know
.........more or less about them right up to present day , only gt grandparents that i'm waiting for the1911 cencus for durham .
.....................don'tseem to get anywhere with my irish side though .
