........ my eighth and final chemotherapy treatment today! Hooray!!!

It's been a long haul, and not without unpleasant side effects, but I've done it, and survived so far. I know I am going to feel poorly for a few weeks, but hey...it's for the last time!

Now I can't wait for my hair, eyebrows and eyelashes to grow back so I can look a bit more like a human being instead of an alien! Just wish I could grow a new boob too!

Still got radiotherapy and a year of Herceptin to go, but I can see a pinprick of light at the end of the tunnel now.

Thanks to all who have supported me so far through this.

Dee

Oh Dee, you make me feel such a fool lol; I have a D & C tomorrow, and I've been dreading it (I hate general anaesthetics, I wanna be conscious lol). Now reading your thread makes me look such a coward, which I confess to being.
Well done you, hun. My brother-in-law is follically-challenged too at the moment, after chemo.
Chin up, and fight it!

Well done Dee!!!! My Friend finished hers about three years ago - she always had beautiful long blonde hair before.

As soon as her fuzz started to grow she was so proud she didnt bother with the wig anymore.

When it was about an inch long she went to the hairdressers and had it dyed a bright Orange / Red just like Annie Lennox used to have!!

I must admit it was different to what she always had before but it looked great!!!

Well done you!!!!

You have got through the hardest part and all your loveliness has been left in tact - and well done for getting over the shingles too!!

The rest wont be plain sailing yet - but in comparison it will be like a walk in the park.

We are all thrilled for you.
