I must be honest, I have never heard of anyone having display towels in my life!

Does anyone else have display towels?

My Mum and my Gran always had a 'best set' which were dragged out and put in the bathroom just for when we had company, btu that was only because we used everything until it fell to bits in our family, we were so poor.

I shoudl say....better set lol

TW, I was just thinking yesterday when Hayley went on about her DTs, my Grandma used to have this threadbare towel on a nail and EVERYONE in the house used to use it....lol...now THAT was poor....

If you use the curtains to dry yourself now thats poor..

My son is very house proud always pumping cushions and I put it down to his army training...hmmm

Yes they have Hayley, they are coming away from the courts back to wherever they are detained at the mo. We get them about 8.30 in the morning going TO the court...and sometimes the escorts are armed.


We just happen to be on the main route from city centre to hospital or out of Norwich altogether lol so we get them all going past here..police, armed guards, ambulance, paramedics, firemen...

~~~~~~ to all , busy day , been lookin at my display cooker , then my display washing machine and iron , smiled at my display vacume cleaner an my nearly new blue an white display towels which match the shade of my nearly new display false teeth in the bathroom .

When we were young and still at home, we each had our own towels and face clothes.
And there would have been special towels put out for guests.

I remember PALMOLIVE SOAP too, but mum used to buy LUX TOILET SOAP.
DREEN shampoo, do you remember?
