Hi Tracey . thanks for the offer..he goes my great grampa, 1901 census....JOHN RIGBY is not with his wife Margaret sh is with her parents the Haines in st helens lancasire...he was born 1874 in st.helens, his dad was dead by 1895 his name was James..not much to go on sorry except he had a son John, a daug dorothy and son sidney and maybe more..not too sure......any help wud be brill Joanie

Thank you for your offer. I am looking for more information about Catherine VAUGHAN,sp.of full age who married Edward Henry SKERRETT in 1885. ( info copied by me from Ullingswick, Herefordshire parish register) Her father was Edward VAUGHAN,labourer. In 1891 Edward and Catherine are in Glamorgan (indexed Sherrett) 1901 They are in Whitbourne, Herefordshire( again Sherrett) with their children...... 1901Catherine says she was born in Hatfield, Herefordshire. I have looked for a Catherine Vaughan b.c. 1863 with father Edward without success.... but did find a Caroline in the right area of Herefordshire. Could this be Catherine???

It is possible she could be, but I can't find that person under Caroline or Catherine in England 1881. Hi Tracey, I had info that my great great grandparents were buried in Spien Kop cemetery in UK. As I am an Aussie I have no idea where that is and can't seem to find anyone who does. Apparently it is not acemetery that is in use. Their names were Thomas & Isabella Robson. Hope you can help. Also if you can look up the 1861 census & tell me the names of their children at that time. One of them would have been my great grandmother Jane Ann born approx. 1850. Regards Jillian

Jillian Do you know where they lived before they died? When did they die? Where is your information from? To be able to find them in 1861, I need to know when-ish they were born. There are way too many for me to guess the right family without more information.

I have looked at Catherine in Kensington before... seems a bit 'posh' for my Catherine.... but then I wondered if she had been sent away from home because... Edward and Catherine (Sherrett) in Glamorgan 1891 have with them Florence recorded as daughter. She was obviously born before their marriage in 1885. Please could you look for a Florence SKERRETT ( or was it Vaughan?) born abt 1882. She is not the Kidderminster Florence Gertrude, who died young. Many thanks for your time and help.
