please couls some one help im looking for information on
Sergent Henry Birks
Unit 2 Battalion Royal Dublin Fusiliers

He served in the boer war and came from dresden in staffordshire
where was he born ?
what year was he born ??
is he a relation to willam shipley ?
or william edward shipley of longton staffordshire ?

any information on him or his family would be a great help

william shipley is a member of my family he past this prayer book to my mum and we have all this information in the prayer book and was wondering what the connection is that his prayer book has been past down through the family

If you go to Freebmd and specify marriages for Shipley/Birks in Staffs you will see 2 possibles. This might be the link.
