We have lost sight of Robert Bousfield b1853 d1901
who was first married to an Eliza Dobson b1853 d1899 in Castle Ward Durham, Robert married again to a Marie ? from Ireland, who ran the White Swan Hotel Sunderland, dont know if any of this can help, but would appreciate any help going further back. Felt that I had found my g g g father called John married to Mary but not sure, any others out there with some assistance

Many Thanks to you all for your extreme efforts in tracing my lot, we have now got back to Roberts father and still digging, had a look on the tips page and dragged up a William Bousfield c1856 who got executed for topping his wife and kids, must look into this also, Fun aint it ?

I realise that this post is well out of date but have become very confused about John Bousfield married to Mary Ann Robson whose parents were Robert Bousfield and Ann Wiseman. Is this the Robert you lost some time ago and, if so, could we exchange information? I am trying to identify his children and so far have John, Edward, Thomas and Adam. But there seems to have been a Septimus born in 1852 despite the fact that Ann died in 1842. Did John marry again?

You referred to her as Ann when mentioning her 'death', but you know that her name was Mary Ann, from the marriage record

I think you are confusing Robert's wife with John's..............
