Hi I'm trying to find any relations to Thomas Downs who was born c 1928, this is my first posting so i hope this is the right place. He was married to Jane (don't know her surname) and lived in Crewe, cheshire.

Thomas would be my g. gt. grandfather.I don't know the date of their marriage i'm afraid, they had one son that i know of called Alfred, born c1880 - who was my great grandfather on my fathers side - who i remember as a child.
They lived in Crewe, Cheshire.
I was given some recent interesting information, that comes from this side of the family

yes..oops. the c1928 should be c1828

How do you know that Alfred's father was born so early? What documents do you have naming his father as Thomas?

Alfred was my parternal grandmothers father. Her name is Ethel (c1918), she had a brother called Edmund.

Alfred married Harriet - not sure of year.
They lived in Crewe and he died c1973.
