Hi I'm trying to find any relations to Thomas Downs who was born c 1928, this is my first posting so i hope this is the right place. He was married to Jane (don't know her surname) and lived in Crewe, cheshire. |

If you refer to living relations, try looking in search trees - just above the board - to find out whether anyone else is researching these people. |

Thomas would be my g. gt. grandfather.I don't know the date of their marriage i'm afraid, they had one son that i know of called Alfred, born c1880 - who was my great grandfather on my fathers side - who i remember as a child. |

Thank you Shirley, this does sound them them - I'm wondering if perhaps Alfred was a grandchild rather than a son.... |

You seem very unsure about your info - have you tried to find Ethel's birth on freebmd? |

This is a possible marriage - the cert would tell you his age and father's details |
