I'm very new to this and would really appreciate some help. I've managed to trace my grandfarthers family back to the 1841 census but im really not sure about how to go any further. The 1841 census shows William and Elizabeth Masters in Bedford with their family it also shows a Robert Masters aged 80 at the same address I would love to know if Robert is Williams father but im just not sure how to find out. |

William and Elizabeth were both 35 and its the county of Bedford I've found their son Charles and it says he was born in Bigglesworth Bedford. Not sure if that helps? |

Kristina, I'm not sure if you've given us the correct details. There is no Jacob Masters/variant born 1831 according to search. |

the reference number is HO 107/2/11. Do you think that Robert could be Williams Grandfather? Thankyou for the thread. |

Well I wondered about that. It's not impossible for him to be his grandfather but both generations would have had to marry very young. |
