I am trying to find out any thing om my aunt mabel page who was born 20th of dec 1913 she lived on centrel street Coalville
No 20
I know her husbands name was Albert i dont know what is second name was before he married .
i would like to know also what her brothers name was and she had a uncle who fought in the trenches .also her mothers name which i havent got .she also talks about her father which i dont have any thing on .I have a big printout of when she was born and when she lived throw the war as a girl which she won a award for .on the 11th nov wed 25th 1987

Colaville seems to be in Leicestershire, but the only two 1913 births are

you two thats some thing we dont know only when she was born and when she marreid Albert page i am looking at a print out of when she was born just before the war broke out for which she won award for she talks about her family but doesnt give many names so i dont have much to go on .

she did they lived in Coalville leicester she was born 20 th dec 1913 Albert page was my grandmas brother but we dont know what her second name was before they married.she had brother as well we dont know any thing about him either

Which war did she write about? You say she was a girl. She would have been a VERY young girl in WW1 & not a girl in WW2.

What year (roughly) was her eldest child born? and do you know his/her name?

Do you know ANY names of her children?

If we find a birth for any of her children,you can buy the birth cert and that will tell you her maiden name (name before marriage)

Gerri, I'm not sure her age is correct. If she was born Dec 1913 then she would hav been 1-5 during WW1, how many memories have you got of that age? Enough to win an award?

That looks like it!

I searched from 1931 through to and including 1937.
There were NO Page births in 'Coalville'

So my guess is...it's Mabel Holland?

I just had a thought!.....

If thats her husbands death in 1990...his birth was 13th April 1911...so her birth year MUST be right?

Steve also said that she had an Uncle that fought in the trenches....this tells me WW1....

...So I think she must have won her award for something in WW2
