Angela

Angela Report 14 May 2008 17:29

i've looked on family search for harriet and edward....and just come up with what you have given me without Thomas?
So i wonder if this is the right bunch as you gave me Edward aged 21 with his mother and the smith and hands families on the 1901 census

Eames Report 14 May 2008 17:31

But are you SURE it's him though..? The image does say 14 - there's a birth for John Edwin in 1877 in Birmingham.

You'd want those in Aston by this name

Births Sep 1880

WILSON Edward Aston 6d 336

Eames

Eames Report 14 May 2008 17:43

Just looked at the image.. Harriet was listed as S for Single!!

Angela

Angela Report 14 May 2008 17:45

Oh......no wonder!
i thought she was widowed in 1901..that must be where i went wrong

Eames

Eames Report 14 May 2008 17:46

Unless Transcriber thought Harriet was Edward's mother and Harriet was his aunt? Clutching straws here.. lol

Angela

Angela Report 14 May 2008 17:51

Maybe......it's a hard one...it would make sense harriet being single as she seems to only have one child..or that could be that if she was married he died early after Edwards birth ...don't know?
