I have CD of marriages for Carmarthenshire. It gives date of marriage, groom's name, brides name and parish where marriage took place. In some cases it also gives occupations.

William Harris (or Harries) born ABT 1819/20 Risca newport Monmouth
(died 1874 Risca)

Marriage Estimate 1945


Ann....... born 1820- Caramthenshire
(died 1911 Risca)

cant find in Newport Monmouth and thought they may have married in Caramthenshire

any help would be much appreciated

not sure how easy your disc's are to search, but I after a marraige for William Pritchard & Laura Lomri sometime around 1820-35 most likely in the carmarthenshire area. If you can help in any way, your help would be much appreicated.

I am looking for the marriage of William Hughes (b. abt 1793 Lllanelli) and Jane ? (b.abt 1800 Pembrey) Their 1st child was born about 1828/9 in Pembrey.

I would be so grateful if you can find their marriage date and Jane's maiden name.

these are the only two entries for William Hughes and Jane? both later dates than you supplied.

22/1/1832 William Hughes - m. Jane Williams, Wid, Pembrey

22/3/1835 William Hughes - St. Ishmael L - m. Jane Howells.

Looks like the Hughes family tradition of illegitimate births goes back further than we thought lol!

Their first child was born in 1833 in Pembrey.
