Find Ancestors

I have found my ancester John H Fuller b.1855 Swindon, Wilts on the 1841, 51, 61, 81 and 1901 census. I have looked and looked for him on the 1871 and 1891 census without success.
Before my eyeballs dissolve completely I wondered if anyone using fresh eyes would have more luck than me!
In 1861 and 1881 he was living in Islington with his wife Mary b.1855 Islington and family, by the 1901 census they'd moved to Tottenham. John's occupation is a House Painter.

I think you've got them! John/ Henry's mum was Selina.
I've got that same family from the 1861 census. I wonder why it's all in initials apart from Head of house? I haven't seen that before.
Anyway, the initials do fit with the names on this entry for 1871 don't they.

That use of initials only crops up every now and again ..... it's often worth using just the surname, birth year and birth county to see if it brings up something like this. I've seen it hapen a number of times!
