You will tend to find enumerators rounded ages up or down, so if these 2 examples are from seperate years they may well be the same person. Examining their families will help you, is the wife of same or similar name? are the child of the same name etc etc Tracey

Member Since: April 2004 Posts: 7,446 Send Message	Do you have Elizabeth on the 1851 census? Have you got her birth certificate? When did her parents marry? If it was after 1837 you will be able to get their marriage cert. This will give yoy James's father's name! Tracey

Member Since: March 2007 Posts: 295 Send Message	Tracey , I did get a "Hot matches" from a lady saying that we have the same ancestors but her James Pomfret was born in Blackburn 1808 and he has a son David born 1841, she opened her tree for me to look and it is difference to mine .
