No birth cert exists for him..

He was married to my mother Brigid Taggart from Coalisland in 1943 Belfast i have the marriage cert and my granny Agnes Martha Coulter and my granda Thomas Morrow is on it all come from Newtownards direction.

So how come i cant find any trace of the Morrow line?

Have tried churches and graveyards and the BDM and am member of Emeraldancestors.com and Familysearchorg.

Anybody looking lookups on emerald, com northern Ireland only give me a shout!

Teresa With Irish Blood in Me Veins Report 25 Aug 2008 11:31

My Mum was born in Dublin 1916.

She never had a birth certificate only her Baptism certificate as proof of birth.

She applied for her birth certificate in 1947..because she was getting married..nothing found then.

Likewise for 2 of her sisters who were born 1914 & 1921 so we have no idea where they were living in Dublin City back then!

Ok i was told by BDM's that it was not unusual for someone back then to have no birth certificate!

coz it was wartime he didnt need it to get married nor get driving license etc..
