Can't find a marriage of Thomas and Martha and there are too many Marthas on the 1871 census born West Bromwich to guess which one is her.

christine don't know when they married his wife was name Annie Handley she came from kidderminster there first child was born in 1913

You really need to get this marriage cert to find out his father's name and occupation, because as Joseph Adams is a common name you could be following the wrong line without definite proof.
