Are there any records that will show if Alexander Speirs Ferguson & Sarah adopted a child?

Can you tell me why the bit where it says "Relationship" on Susannahs says "Dr.(Doctor) instead of Daughter? Is it a misprint?

Ok now you are going to need to get info re their marriage as i have looked back on the 1891 and for both of them their are few possibles and on the 1891 2 with the same job as Alex.
The marriage record of 1894 must have had parents names for both of the couple?

Silly me hadn't thought of looking under Alex!!

The marriage took place at West Greenock.
Alexander Ferguson was a Riveter Journeyman (railway I think) address when Alexander Speirs Ferguson was born is 53 Locnnel(Ithink) not too clear. Alexander S Ferguson was born at 4.30 a.m.
Birth registered on july 26 1899 at Greenock.
All I know is Bridget's maiden name was McMenemie.

I have found out that he was born in 1900,married a Sarah Gray in1929 Greenock,Renfrew,he died in 1955 at Kilmalcom Renfrew.
This is even more puzzling now because Adoption papers had Sarah Syme as adoptive mum so,what happened to Sarah Gray?
