Anyone able please to find the marriage of George Denford to Maria for me please.

Also if possible the birth of George c 1836?

William's birth should be on Freebmd. The cert will give you his mother's maiden name.

Neither the birth nor the marriage is on BVRI, Nicki.

Can anyone please find them on the 1851 to see if there are later children, so I could order their birth certificate to get maiden name?

(This can't be right! Maria's age is wrong and Thomas is the same age that George should be.)

I cannot find them on 1851 as findmypast does not have that census. However I cannot find them on the 1861 either.

Please could someone help me.

Sorry, Nicki, I can't find them at all after 1841, except for William who seems to have moved to Grimsby and become a fisherman and appears twice on the 1871 - once on a fishing boat, the Columbia, on Dogger Bank; and again at home in Grimsby with his wife!

Not much help find his MMN though.

I think they must have been mistranscribed - having trouble spotting anything like them in 1851 and 1861 ...

Please could someone try to help me - I am doing a family tree as an 80th birthday present for my father in law - I have three weeks left to sort out the loose ends.


However I still cannot find Maria & George or any further children on 1851 as findmypast does not have that census. Also I cannot even find them on the 1861 either.

Anyone able to have a further look for me please. Looks like it is going to be some sort of mistranscription puzzle!!
