Can someone help - my grandmother Gladys Venn had a sister called Queenie and various other siblings born in Eastbourne around 1890's and into 1900's - I would love to know the names of her parents and any other relations if poss.

Geraldine is born London, Middlesex in the 1901 census. very odd. I wonder who Annie is?

Annie looks like his first wife

But Annie's on the 1891 census. He married Geraldine in 1886!

This is a revelation - no one seems to have remembered there was a first wife - Henry is around 15 years older than Geraldine - wonder when Annie died - also Lily disappears between 1891 and 1901

Oh i see what you mean now, but annie comes from Bristol. Strange

I believe Gladys moves to London in her teens perhaps Henry dies and Geraldine goes home

Possible Henry in 1861 before confusing us with his wives! Children all born Brighton, everyone else are lodgers.

Very odd says annie from Bristol on the original aswell

Can't thank you guys enough - you have helped me greatly - I hate to be a bit of a burden but is there anyway I can find out whether Frank and Harry served in the WW1 and died in action as family rumour has it
