The reason I put the Violet A Taylor marriage was that I have examples where I have been looking for a maiden name, but the lady was remarrying. The childrens birth records show her original maiden name, but obviously her marriage shows her first husbands name. |

If they lived in Trimdon or Wingate you won't be able to find them yet on the 1911 census as Durham is one of the counties that isn't on just yet. I'm waiting for Durham and Northumberland to be added myself. |

It just says on the 1911 census site that Durham and Northumberland are two of the counties that are "coming soon" - whatever that means!! |

thank you to everyone who helped on this post .i have been able to confirm my nana is violet alice taylor from morpeth.Strnge all of her children knew her as burns.Her first 3 childrens births had burns as her maiden name then her following childrens births had Taylor.So i have found her parents joh n (1864) and mabel l (1864) .am now wondering if her mum mabel was a burns or johns parents were burns .I have tried looking without sucess.any1 with a extra good search |
