Find Ancestors

Can anyone help me find the marriage of John Greenwood (c1832) and Mary Eastwood (c1840) nee Holmes. They lived in the Bradford area of Yorkshire. He was born in Bradford and she was born in Thornton Bradford.
I have the birth cert of their son Herbert born 10/08/1866 but cant seem to find anything much about the parents. It says on the birth cert that his mother is Mary Greenwood late Eastwood formally Holmes.
I can find them in the 1871 census but nothing prior to that.

Thanks everyone. It's difficult to know about the earlier censuses and I not sure if it is the same John Greenwood. I dont think the Calverley Greenwoods are the same as there is no Herbert anywhere and he is the one that I am sure of. I feel that the only way to get anywhere with them is the find the marriage cert but that is proving very difficult

Yes, that's true but I have followed the Calverley Greenwoods and cannot find a Herbert.
Greenwood is such a common name in that area which makes it more difficult.
I believe there is a sister Annie but I dont think she was born until 1874.

first married ? Eastwood around 1855-60
then married John Greenwood around 1860 born 1832 Bradford.
John and Mary have son Herbert 1866

Yes, that is correct and I am pretty sure that it is them in Mildred Street. I am presuming that Margaret Ann Holmes is Mary's sister so that could well be her birth 9b/46 and I will send for the certificate.
I can find them in the 1871, 1881, 1891 and 1901 but nothing in the 1911 census. There is nothing concrete prior to that so I was thinking that if I could get a marriage then that would be something to go on.

I just searched freebmd for Eastwood all types 1837-1871 and Bradford and came up with no matches at all
