Find Ancestors

I have an Ada Robson marrying Sam Thomas Richardson in 1890. I cannot find her in either the 1881 or 1891 censuses. She was born in 1860 in Manchester and her father was Thomas Mark Robson, a commercial traveller. The only other clue I have is a witness on the marriage cert, Julia Robson. I am presuming she is Ada's sister but I really have no proof . Any ideas would be greatly appreciated, Debbie

i saw that one, quinsgran,but still couldnt find ada
i even went to wales and scotland to look ,but no go.
she married in aston warwick ,i looked it up
,and that is where sam was born in 1864,
looked him up on 1901 to find that.
can you see them in 1891 and her in 1881,i cant
found her in 1901 though

Can someone check the census image. for her age as it could be wrong

Checked the 1881 census image.....she is not on it !!!!!!

On the image the family have a servant called Mary although it isn't Robson the enumerator has seen it as Robson .............the family name is Cook, and there is a daughter Ada...................... a big mix up....... I hope this makes sense !!!!!

There are some Adas on the 1881 not born in Lancashire, although looking at the Robson family in 1881 they now say they were born in Warwickshire.

Can you check the 1881 census image of the Ada Robson 1848 Manchester to see if her age is wrong.
This Ada is living with Goode family

Also the images in 1891 and 1901 that I have found
