What was his father's occupation on the marriage cert?

This is probably Thomas in 1911, have you looked at the transcription to see who he is living with?

HOUSEHOLD KNOTT THOMAS M 1890 21 St Olave (Bermondsey) London

I haven't found him in 1891 to match up though.

What was the address given on the marriage cert?

hello Dea
Here goes, some i cant read clearly
15th April 1911, at the Parish church in Parish of ???Bromley, county of London
Thomas knott, 21, Bachelor, address 24 ??carmen St, fathers name George, Deceased
Ethel Franklin,19, spinster, same address, father Charles, Labourer
Witnesses, G Franklinand Lizzy Franklin
I believe Ethels parents disowned her when she married Thomas, so the witnesses might be family members?
Hope this helps
I have had some leeds with Ethel but Thomas (who was a baker, and orphaned, no joy, so very grateful for your help

Going by his age (assuming he wasn't telling porkies and was 21) and the date of the marriage - he could have been born anytime between 16 April 1889 and 14 April 1891.

Not sure if that will help but you may possibly need to search a wider time period for a possible birth.

- all the children seem to scatter after this census and I have followed a few but can't do
more until later so I will post it and perhaps someone could follow the links?
